Charles Manson Follower Released From Prison
Lynette Fromme was released from prison after more than thirty (30) years in prison. She was also known as Squeaky, and said to be part of the “Charles Manson” Family.

Fromme, now sixty (60), left a Texas Prison on Friday, August 14, 2009. She was convicted of trying to assassinate President Gerald Ford in September of 1975. No one was hurt in the incident and I managed to get a video of an interview with her. I will air it for a few days.
Fromme first became eligible for parole in 1985 but didn’t seek release.
Fromme, who got a life term, became the first person sentenced under a special federal law covering assaults on U.S. presidents, a statute that was first enacted after the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
She escaped from a women’s prison in Alderson, West Virginia, on Dec. 23, 1987, and was recaptured about two miles away on Christmas Day after a massive search.
She was sentenced to an additional 15 months in prison for the escape.
See the video for details of how the crime happened.
